Manos del Uruguay Marina

Marina is a single ply, incredibly light and soft laceweight yarn. It’s perfect for your lace accessories knitting. The yarn is hand dyed in a striking palette of deep space dye colors.

Manos del Uruguay is a non-profit social organization which, since 1968, has provided jobs for craftswomen living in Uruguay rural areas. They spin by hand and craft dye beautiful yarns with fantastical, vibrant colors. Each skein of yarn has a tag, with the signature of the woman who made it and the location where it was made. Since 2009 the organization is also part of the World Fair Trade Organization, WFTO.
